Join us for Holiday Kids Camp

Youth Programming

We believe climbing is a must-try for kids of all ages and ability levels, because it’s a non-team sport with a team atmosphere that can help with socialization, physical wellness, mental acuity, strength, speed and mobility.

IMPORTANT!

All minors must have a waiver on file signed by their PARENT or LEGAL GUARDIAN. If the parent will not be accompanying the child, they will need to fill out the waiver online and email a photo of their ID to climb@wilkesbarreclimbinggym.com

Youth open gyms

Every Wednesday 4-6pm

Finding the right sport for your child can be challenging, especially when it feels like you have to try everything to see what clicks. That’s why we’ve created our no-commitment Youth Open Gym program. Every Wednesday from 4-6pm, kids can drop in for an exciting climbing session, with friendly staff on hand to offer guidance and encouragement. It’s a perfect way for your child to explore climbing at their own pace—whether they’re brand new to the sport or already on their way to the top!

Youth holiday day camps

Designed for kids to stay active and engaged on their days off, we offer full-day camp options for winter school breaks. Whether your child is new to climbing or looking to sharpen their skills, our camps provide expert instruction, fun challenges, and plenty of time to make new friends.

Our private instruction offers personalized, one-on-one coaching tailored to your child’s experience and goals. Our experienced instructors provide focused attention, helping young climbers build confidence, strength, and problem-solving skills in a fun and encouraging environment. Private sessions are a great way to fast-track progress, overcome challenges, and get the most out of each climb. We also find it helpful for kids who don’t do well in group environments.
